As Onaro’s chief executive officer, Doug McNary guides the company’s strategic direction and drives its financial performance. He brings over 20 years experience in the enterprise systems market
and extensive background in building high growth software companies.
Prior to joining Onaro, Mr. McNary held senior executive positions at Motive. He was instrumental in growing that company into a 400-person organization with over $100M in revenues – leading to one of the few successful technology IPO’s in 2004. As vice president of sales, he built Motive’s global sales organization from the ground up. As executive vice president of corporate development, he guided the company’s M&A activities and established strategic business relationships with key partners including EMC, Veritas, Mercury Interactive and Alcatel.
Prior to Motive, Mr. McNary served as Vice President of Sales for Trellix Corporation where he developed a multi-channel distribution model and completed key OEM deals. Prior to Trellix, Mr. McNary held executive sales positions at Tivoli Systems where he developed and built the North America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) sales operations. While at Tivoli, he also played an instrumental role in its IPO and $750M merger with IBM. Earlier in his career, Mr. McNary held various sales and marketing positions at Technology Concepts, Wang and General Electric.
Mr. McNary received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
