Onaro Completes Testing of Its SANscreen Change Management Solution Under IBM’s TotalStorage® Proven™ Program
Assures Seamless Interoperability and Performance of SANscreen With TotalStorage Products to Deliver Highly Available and Validated SANs.
Boston, January 24, 2005 – Onaro, Inc., the pioneer of software that troubleshoots problems with Storage Area Networks (SANs) and predicts the impact of SAN changes prior to implementation, today announced that SANscreen® has successfully completed interoperability testing with the IBM TotalStorage Enterprise Storage Server® (ESS) Model 800 under the IBM TotalStorage Proven™.
The IBM TotalStorage Proven program builds on IBM’s already extensive interoperability efforts to develop and deliver products and solutions that work together with third party products. SANscreen and TotalStorage products can help customers support highly available, scalable and continuously validated SANs. In addition, the combined solution can help speed deployment and simplify management of storage networks.
As part of the program, SANscreen® underwent testing at the Waltham, Mass. IBM Innovation Center for Business Partners. The process included tests for interoperability and functionality. IBM TotalStorage Proven status for SANscreen marks the latest milestone for Onaro with major industry vendors such as IBM, as well as top industry analysts and independent lab reviewers.
