Service Assurance contains a special switch migration module to automate the process of one of the more common yet highly disruptive datacenter operations. Service Assurance's migration manager automates the migration process, significantly reducing the timeframe required to complete all phases of the migration. The switch migration module provides:
- Identification of all impacted applications and business units
- Identification of any existing service violations that may cause outages during the migration
- Post-migration quality assurance to validate that all services have been restored to their pre-migration levels
