The core of SANscreen is its service intelligence engine which solves an extremely challenging and complex analysis problem. In nearly real time, the service intelligence engine can process tens of thousands of bits of configuration and element information, correlate all this data, and present it in a scalable fashion that supports thousands of ports. This task is comparable to that of intelligence agencies which must correlate millions of pieces of intelligence data from around the globe to gain insight into future world events. Onaro's core engineering team actually came from the intelligence community where this type of analysis was developed. Today, Onaro has applied for multiple patents based on its service intelligence engine.
